UMarmyCollege UMarmy lends a hand to Cramer Center

College-age UM army teams put their faith into action during the week of May 24 helping with local projects in the Houston area. The Cramer Center had the benefit of several young people on Thursday afternoon and Friday. From drywall work to exterior soffit panels, from fire breaks in the walls of the wellhouse to doors on the mower shed, these servants showed what it means to live your faith through service. Praise the Lord for their willing hearts and able hands! Here are some photos of the blessings of those days.

Cutting fire breaks
Volunteers cutting blocks for firebreaks in the walls of the Wellhouse.

The firebreaks in the walls of the Wellhouse will make the space safer for use as a chapel and meeting room.

Replacing drywall in House 1 after bee removal.

New soffit panels were needed after bee hives were removed.

Doors on the mower shed will keep our equipment safe from the elements.

Of course we have some fun, too. Our final job--eating some ice-cream sandwiches after a long day.

Many thanks to each of the humble servants who came and worked and shared. Most of all, our thanks go to our gracious God who makes us one in Christ Jesus.

God bless you--
